I just noticed last night that my home page is missing…you get some horrid 404 error. Trying to find someone to help me fix it. Technical, I am not.

The rest of my website seems to be working. I apologize for the ugly.

Please excuse the hideous appearance of the “My Books” page. For some reason, Word Press does not like this page and decides to make random changes to my spacing and arrangement of information on there.

So, I am going to be forced to create graphics with the pic and text in one file in order to make this page look the way I want. Right now, I’ve created jpegs of the text, just to keep the stuff where I want it to be, more or less.

Ugh.

Anyway, I don’t want anyone thinking that I believe the “My Books” page to be nicely done or finished or what have you. It’s not. That is NOT the way I want that page to look. But for now, that’s the best I can do as I take the time to make individual graphics for each book that I can upload as one solid thing. Then all my spacing and formatting nightmares will be over.

There’s nothing more annoying than Word Press deciding that I really didn’t want those carriage returns and breaks in there. Stupid technology!

Well, I spent my morning adding two new excerpts for ICE BLACK and ICE RED. So enjoy those. Warning: these are different books than I’ve written in the past. A little hotter, a little raunchier. And I think that is reflected in the excerpts. You have been warned!

I also added KISS & SPELL, ICE BLACK, and ICE RED to the My Books page with blurbs. I don’t have cover art for the two ICE books, but wanted to get those up there, since I now have release dates.

I’m right in the middle of edits for THE OPAL HUNTER, but I’m not sure of the process with Liquid Silver quite yet. Not sure what that means for a release date or cover art. But hopefully, I will have an excerpt for that as well and a place holder cover on the My Books page.

The only two left in the near future would be ICE WHITE and BEEF CAKE. Haven’t started any work on those yet. Although I probably will add them to the My Books page soon as well.

Yes, this is 2009!  Busy!!!  But good.

Well, if you haven’t noticed, I’ve made some changes to my website. Updates, improvements, what have you. I joined the Twitter revolution and am hoping I can keep up with that. Wish I had a cell phone to do on the fly updates, but considering I spend the majority of my time at home, it’d be kinda silly.

(Um, yes, no cell phone really. We live in the mountains and get ridiculously bad reception. You have to walk out on our lawn about 30 feet away from the house to get even 1 bar. My husband has one that he uses only when a great distance from the house.)

The Twitter updates are in my sidebar. I’m not sure how many will be listed there. I really only want the latest one to show, but I don’t think I get a choice in that. Oh, well. I also added cover art with links on my homepage. It’d be nice to think that someday there will be many many covers there. Sigh…

I’m also considering redoing my books page–shrink the text and make the cover art smaller, so you don’t have to do so much scanning down. I have a hard time with the HMTL on that particular page for some reason, so nothing looks as consistent as I’d like it. This tells me I need to just start over from scratch and do it differently. I think I will check out some author sites to see how they do it.

I like including quotes from reviews, but I need to make them smaller or different somehow. Have to think over that one.
