I have been very very busy the past two weeks. I have a new job that has been taking up a lot of my time and energy. It’s good…I’ve needed something like that for a long time now. Something to get me moving and motivated. But it’s been a hard adjustment for my writer self.

The good news is that when I get out of the house for all those hours, I come back home with a brighter mood and a happier outlook. I’m more inspired than ever to get writing and accomplish a lot with the rest of 2009.

It seems that when I am busier, I accomplish more. I’m a worldclass lazy ass. If given the right conditions, I can sit and sit and sit and accomplish absolutely nothing.

And sometimes you NEED to just sit. But it’s amazing how much better I feel when I get out and accomplish something with my day.
