After several weeks of renovations and family visits, I’m finally BACK! Yeah, like you even missed me. Ha, ha.

Our big renovation project is just about done, with only minor things to do. Most of it cosmetic…like pictures, curtains, that kind of thing. But right now it is completely usable space, and it turned out just gorgeous! The best part is the amount of space you have with all the views from the three sides of windows.

I survived some family visiting. Whew! I’m the kind of vacationer who actually likes to feel *relaxed* after a vacation. Those who were visiting clearly weren’t of the same mind! They were on the go EVERY day. And many times I joined them. After a week of running, running, running, I was exhausted. The day they left, I took a 3 hour nap, and then slept for about 10 more hours that night.

So, I’m trying to collect myself back together and start getting back to my writing. My subbed books are still in limbo. No news. Which I take as good news for now. Hoping I’ll have something to tell in a month or less. Keep your fingers crossed.

I also have to put together my July/August newsletter and add another review to my site. I found another one for my book SNOWDRIFT, which has just recently become available through Fictionwise. Looks like VARGAS GIRL will be posted to Fictionwise in September. So keep an eye out for that!

So, how is everyone else’s summer going? Less hectic than mine? I hope so!
